It’s time

I’ve complained about the big weight I’ve gained and now it’s time to get serious about losing it. My 30th year high school class reunion is next summer and I refuse to go up there looking like I do. Most of the people I graduated with haven’t seen me since graduation and though I’m smaller now than I was then, I want to get back to where I was seven months ago…..25 pounds lighter!

I’m determined not to get any more discouraged by the slowness of my runs, but will convince myself it’s cause of the weight and I’m just gonna keep on keepin’ on. My goal is a minimum of four miles a day and a minimum of five days a week. At least once on Saturday or Sunday I’d like to run seven or more. I turn 50 in 2 1/2 years and I also want to be ready for my first marathon to celebrate the milestone. Keep your fingers crossed, y’all.
